Building sustainable ecosystem-oriented architectures
Currently, organizations are transforming their business processes into e-services and service-oriented architectures to improve coordination across sales, marketing, and partner channels, to build flexible and scalable systems, and to reduce integration-related maintenance and development costs. However, this new paradigm is still fragile and lacks many features crucial for building sustainabl...
متن کاملBuilding Ecosystem-Aware Tools Using the Ecosystem Monitoring Framework
Integrating ecosystem data into developer tools can be very beneficial but is usually complicated. By automating the routine parts of this task we can reduce the amount of work needed to develop these tools. We have developed a framework that allows developers to quickly develop new tools that use ecosystem data. This framework automates the execution of user-defined analyses on ecosystem proje...
متن کاملLessons Learned When Building a Greenfield High Performance Computing Ecosystem
Faced with a fragmented research computing environment and growing needs for high performance computing resources, Michigan State University established the High Performance Computing Center in 2005 to serve as a central high performance computing resource for MSU’s research community. Like greenfield industrial development, the center was unconstrained by existing infrastructure. The lessons l...
متن کاملBuilding Better Traffic Ecosystem through Balanced Navigation - Concept and Practice
With state-of-the-art vehicular navigation systems still devoted to sensing accurate traffic conditions, their routing strategy only achieves suboptimal result since, in face of congestion, navigation systems tend to greedily shift all traffic to previously light-traffic roads and causes new traffic jams. In this talk, present Themis, a cloud based vehicle navigation system that adopts a differ...
